Every Wednesday we are linking up with WWW Wednesday. WWW Wednesday is hosted at Taking on a World of Words and asks 3 questions: What are you currently reading?, What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you'll read next?
Clare:
Currently Reading:
I am currently about halfway through Death in the Clouds by Agatha Christie which I am really enjoying - I have a slight idea of who might have done the murder but I am intrigued to see if I am right! I am also still reading Barchester Towers by Anthony Trollope which is another enjoyable read.
Recently Finished:
The first book I finished this week was The Lie and the Lady by Kate Noble which I thought was a fun read but not an instant favourite for me. I then started on a bit of a mystery kick and read The Murder on the Links by Agatha Christie which was such a fun and surprising read. There were plenty of twists and there were only a couple of times I worked out what was happening (which made me feel clever). The Mystery of the Blue Train was a much easier mystery to solve - but since that made me feel very clever I am not going to complain and it was a very fun read.
Planning to Read Next:
Next I am planning to read the final three Poirot mysteries I own which are Sad Cypress, Hickory Dickory Dock and The Clocks. I am really enjoying the Poirot stories so far so I have high hopes for these three.
Love Agatha Christie! Need to start reading more of her books! I loved murder on the orient express

No judging! Until about a month ago I'd never read any either! My Mum got me a boxset for my birthday and now I love Agatha Christie!
DeleteLoads of lovely Christie! When you've finished your Poirot-a-thon, you should say which one you think it best so I can prioritise that one :-) The 2 books I've read by Christie are both Poirot stories, so I'd like to read a Miss Marple next, but then back to Poirot :-)
ReplyDeleteOne of the things I like best about Christie is that she gives the reader enough information that you can form you own idea who did it. It's no fun if you have absolutely no idea!

I only meant to read a couple but I seem to be reading the whole boxset! I plan to do a mini review for each of the books probably next Monday so I'll let you know then which one I prefer! I love mystery books where I can figure out at least part of the mystery - if its too complex I just feel dumb!
DeleteThis week is a reminder that I really need to read some Christie! I've been meaning to for ages. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteYeah I seem to be overdosing on Christie - but the books are just so much fun! You definitely should read some Christie soon!
