Top 5 Series Novellas

Top 5 Wednesdays are hosted by Ginger Reads Lainey and you can find the goodreads page here. Neither of us read a lot of novellas so we struggled a bit with this.

Ann:

The Course of True Love [and First Dates] (The Bane Chronicles, #10)The Voicemail of Magnus Bane (The Bane Chronicles, #11)
1) The Course of True Love (And First Dates)
2) The Voicemail of Magnus Bane
Both of mine are from the Mortal Instruments series, which is one of my favourite series of all time and also the only series for which I have read novellas. I love Malec, they are basically my favourite book couple.

Clare:

The Assassin and the Empire (Throne of Glass, #0.5)The Son of Sobek (Percy Jackson & Kane Chronicles Crossover, #1)Silent Night (Lady Julia, #5.5)
3) The Assassin and the Empire by Sarah J. Maas
I could basically have chosen all five of this series' novellas but this one in particular did such a good job of explaining Caelena and an amazing job at breaking my heart.
4) The Son of Sobek by Rick Riordan
I am a sucker for crossovers so I loved seeing Percy interact with Carter. I will definitely be reading the rest of these short stories.
5) Silent Night by Deanna Raybourn
I basically just love that this even exists. I adore these characters and I would have read pretty much anything featuring them, that this also happened to be a good story was just a bonus!

You can also find us on Goodreads (Ann and Clare) to keep up with what we are reading

    1. I absolutely love them! It's agony waiting for the next book - I usually wait until all the books in a series are released before I start a series, but Throne of Glass just tempted me so much!
