Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. You can find the list of future topics here! This was actually a perfect topic for me! When we moved I reorganised my TBR shelf by "date acquired" (which now I'm writing it down seems dorky af)! So these are the oldest books on my TBR shelf and next up on my to-read list (after review books).
There are a lot on here that I am very excited for. I've forgotten, between buying them and now, what The Taxidermist's Daughter and The Amber Shadows are actually about but I love historical fiction at the moment. And I hear nothing but good things about The Final Empire and And I Darken which are probably the two I am most excited for!
I remember some of these. The Amy Tintera series I was gonna read... guess it's stuck on my TBR somewhere too!
ReplyDeleteI recently picked up Ruined despite it being an older book. So while it's a new-to-me-book, it's one I would like to read because I don't know much about it, plus it'd be a new author. :)
ReplyDeleteRed Rising has been on my TBR for some time now, too. The Taxidermist's Daughter looks interesting as well.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!
And I Darken is not worth it, very dense and a bit of a slog to get through. The Crown's Game was a lot of fun though!

Ruined's on my list too! I don't know anything about it so when I eventually pick it up at least I'll be going into it blind and with no preconceptions.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT.
Awesome list!! I hope you can read these books soon!!
ReplyDeleteHere's a link to my TTT post for this week:

I haven't read any of these books, but a lot of them are on my TBR as well. I hope you enjoy them once you get around to reading them.
ReplyDeleteI know it`s not that buzzed, but I have heard great things about The Crown`s Game. The cover reminds me of a Russian setting, which I love.
