Friday Reads 10th June 2016

I just want to remind everyone that our Blogiversary Giveaway is still open here and it is open internationally (so long as the Book Depository ships to your country) so please head over and enter!
Friday 56 is hosted at Freda's Voice and Book Beginnings is hosted by Rose City Reader. The idea is to share a sentence or so from the first page and the 56th page of the book you are currently reading!

Clare:

Shaken (Struck, #3)Imprudence (The Custard Protocol, #2)A School for Unusual Girls (Stranje House, #1)
I am currently reading Shaken by Joss Stirling which is the third book in the Struck series. I liked the first book and loved the second so I am looking forward to reading this one. I am then planning to read Imprudence by Gail Carriger which is a review book that is being released on the 19th of June so I am planning to get my review up soon. And then I want to read A School for Unusual Girls by Kathleen Baldwin which looks like it will be a really fun read.

Book Beginning:
"A man was being held at knifepoint - that's what they'd been told to expect." - Shaken by Joss Stirling
Friday 56:
"Don't worry, I had worked that out for myself. We aren't completely clueless in the Bureau." - Shaken by Joss Stirling

You can also find us on Goodreads (Ann and Clare) to keep up with what we are reading

  12. Not sure where those quotes will take the story but they are fun and inciting at the same time. Thanks for visiting my blog. Definitely pick up The Lie Tree. The writing and mystery are so compelling.
